I have lived in Mitchell since 1979, coming here to attend Dakota Wesleyan University.  I graduated as president of my senior class with a degree in Business Administration.  Most of my career has been in banking management or insurance sales and service and have been identified as an agent that provides customers with an outstanding customer experience.

In the Mitchell community, I have served or am currently serving on the Wesley Acres Foundation Board and their Board of Trustees.  I have taught Sunday school for junior high age students for many years at the First United Methodist Church and have served as the Chairman of our Finance Committee, Vice Chairman of the Staff Parrish Committee, Lay Leader and on their Board of Trustees, as well as other volunteer positions within the church.  While running my agency in Watertown, I was a board member for both the Kiwanis Club and the local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

I invite you to stop in to my office at 110 East Second Street and say “Hello”.  I would be happy to meet you and in most cases, show you how De Smet Farm Mutual Insurance can give you the best coverage at the best price with the best service possible. I look forward to meeting you !!

Being born and raised in Mitchell, I am proud to call this community my home.  I graduated from Mitchell High School in 2009 where, in my senior year, I made the decision to join the South Dakota National Guard. I am currently in my twelfth year of service and plan on serving the full twenty years.  After my first deployment to Afghanistan in 2011, I chose to continue with my education and enrolled to Mitchell Technical Institute.  I graduated MTI with an Associates of Applied Science in architectural design and building construction, which I believe will help to make sure everyone has the coverages they need.  In 2015, the National Guard came calling again and I was sent on another deployment, this time to Kuwait.  After returning home in 2016, I married my wife, Chelsey and we now have four amazing children that, like myself, are being raised in this wonderful community.

I am happy to be an Agent with Kelly Gross Insurance and offer the great products that De Smet Farm Mutual Insurance has available.  Our office is at 110 East Second Street, feel free to stop in and visit.  I look forward to meeting you and helping with all your home, farm, and auto insurance needs!
